Can someone explain this incompetence? I also think they were told to drop all the charges against ruto's allies (it's no longer just a coincidence) but the sheer incompetence is stunning

Also judiciary that complicate simple cases...with crooked lawyers.
The justice system remain broken and ineffective against powerful.

The incompetence is intentional. How can the presecution fail to present the witnesses it intended to call in the trial?
It reminds me of the case Ruto faced in court for having sold gazetted forest land to NSSF . The prosecution witnesses ended up being witnesses for the defence.
