Being a minister in kenya is a gold mine...you make a deal with grains traders to import 100K tonnes of GMO maize..you then gazzette importation of GMO maize..then ship docks in Mombasa...you make your millions...give 5MN to churches and keep the rest to yourself.

According to Daily Nation, that shipped had docked a few days ago. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

what was gazetted? I duty free entry for non-east africa maize. Otherwise I believe the maize has been coming as long as local and regional maize is more expensive - duty at 50 percent of value
