I am okay but there has to be tribal balance in KRA
There is too much kikuyuism in there.
It very entrenched because for 20yrs now the chairman or the CEO has been a kikuyu
This has to change.
KRA cannot succeed with this kind of inbreeding and cronyism.

•  Out of 133 senior management positions, 50 are held by Kikuyus —  37.59 per cent of that cadre. Since 2001, the Kikuyu community has consistently dominated.
Of the 83 slots, Luhyas are 19,  Luos 16, Kamba 13, Kisii  9, Kalenjin 8, Meru 4, Embu 2, with Tharaka, Samburu, Maasai, Burji among others having one member each.

According to documents, the authority currently has a total workforce of 6,924.

Out of these, 1,961 are from the Kikuyu community, followed by Luos at 874 and Luhyas at 837.

The same trend is replicated in the middle-level management where out of the 3,967 staff, Kikuyus still dominate with 1,178 members followed at a distance by members from the Luhya community at 503, surpassing Luo community by just five members

I am assuming that to get a job in this field, you need some finance or accounting education. Kikuyus love those two areas of education, everyone I grew up with in Kiambu wanted to be an accountant, I have several in my family with what they used to call CPAK, people tell me that this is not even marketable anymore, it used to be a guaranteed job. If Ruto wants to completely fail, start with the nonsense of tribal balance and hire unqualified people for professional jobs. It’s a recipe for disaster, this is what is killing counties with people hiring their girlfriends for jobs they have no clue. Jobs should go to the most qualified regardless of the tribe. Kra and every national institution should hire all Kenyans from all skillsets ..you may need engineer to go audit a manufacturing company otherwise they will confuse you with jargon.Ethnic balance is not request..it's a constitutional requirement.

Kra hiring is opaque and nepotistic...trust me even Kikuyu hired there or kalenjin knows someone in kra...kra can't suceed until it get this right
