Hasla is moving on this. Hinga doesn't need vetting, I guess.
The pension funds were idling with hundreds of billions. Seems ufool was blocking all sort of investment for Northlands.
Why only 10% while banks are reaping from T Bills/Bonds?
In October 2021, a consortium of 18 pension funds said they were seeking to invest up to $263.3 million in public projects through the public-private partnership (PPP) model to diversify their asset portfolio and raise returns for pension savers.
The Kenya Pension Fund Investment Consortium (KEPFIC), whose members control about $2.63 billion in assets under management, said it has identified 17 infrastructure projects in the water, energy, affordable housing and roads sectors that are viable for investment.
The law allows a fund to put up to 10 percent of its portfolio in infrastructure and other asset classes.

Police have so much land. Will they allocate hasoras in such places as Kiganjo (100 acres!), West park Langata(75acres!)?
EACC needs to go hard in reclaiming public land all over the country. Most available parcels are only an acre.

Real deal is housing levy - and NSSF levy - if those two passes - we are on. Hinga was hampered by Ufool but now will deliver.
-
What will make this housing affordable, free land?
-
Land, Yes. Standardization of doors, windows, fixtures.
Price of houses is insanely inflated in past 20 years. The PEV made the hyper.
-
Economies of scale.
That is why housing levy has to work;
Pension reforms has to work;
If you build 3 or 4 units; you wont be able to deliver mass cheap housing.
The trick is to have developers who can build 5,000 units per housing estate.
Edderman delivers houses for 3 million without gov help
If we knock out land and increase the scale - they can sell it for 1-2 million
And if there is assured off take - through housing levy - upon completion - money will pour in
