Anything to reduce, discourage, record is welcomed. Corruption exist worldwide. What developed countries do is to put controls all over - cctv camera all over - speed cameras - audit trail - mpesa audit trail - bank audit trail - basically to track these guys offline and online - to minimize corruption.

We now have technology to help us - all the AI/data mining to track unusual movement of money - etc.

It is part of bigger system. When I know you can't lock my businesses with nyororo and you don't want to deal with me in your office, I have you by the balls. You have to do the right or have justifiable reasons. Even using sign language will be recorded.
