That sense I get from his foreign policy so far. I think he knows China is not going to lend to kenya - and has decided to go for US. It already paid in 200M dollars for drought.

1) Why do you think China is not going to lend Kenya?

2) Ruto is supporting Abiy Ahmed who has been at loggerheads with the Americans who are supporting Tigrsy.

3) 200MN USD/24BN is less than 5% Of Kenya annual tax revenues or tax evasion by American multinationals in Kenya or military supply contracts of American companies to Kenya gov so that doesn't make sense.

1) Kenya is struggling to repay china debt - and has been soft-banned.
2) Ruto I think will default to what American wants in Ethiopia & the region.
3) Museveni has been American blue-eyed boy - and is one who connected Ruto to the US - when Uhuru was committed to finish him.
4) Americans and UK played key role in Ruto campaign and in stopping coup attempt at Bomas. China probably funded Uhuru and his state project.
5) 200M dollars was largest donation by US to WFP kenya - all thanks to Ruto sweettalking the americans.

I see kenya becoming mini-Uganda - Ruto already said that US is kenya most important partnet - not the UK - not China.

It back to Moi era - the Americans are back at the top - with UK now playing small league. China is likely out.

Rumours - Murkomen signed the Mombasa road 3 billion dollar with Betchel for Nairobi-Mombasa expressway.

(1) Kenya is not struggling to pay any debt.Our total national debt is 8TN.Our annual revenues are about 2TN.A COUNTRY ONLY DEFAULTS IF IT'S DEBT REPAYMENT ARE MORE THAN THE REVENUE COLLECTED and we aren't at that point.Infact Ruto can push KRA to collect an extra 200BN and use that money to borrow 2TN to build the infrastructure he wants with a repayment of 15 years.

2) Whether Ruto becomes USA OR CHINA PROXY doesn't matter.Both America and China have one simple job...Make sure their companies get the contract e.g. betchel,Ensure the financier is American bank,Ensure major equipment supplier is American...so the beneficiary will be USA gov which will make money.We need to shift away from this idiotic mentality and focus on local financing through syndicated banking.

3) You are very  well aware that if USA gives Kenya 200MB donation...one of the major terms is to deal with the USAID which ensures the supplier of relief food and drugs are American farmers and pharmaceutical companies so they money does back to USA.

4) The work of museveni and Kagame is so steal cobalt and timber from DRC.Both are tutsi.They then export those products and their annual earnings are between $4-$5BN dollars.They then use that money to buy weapons from American companies to support the rebels.That is why USA Didn't want Raila and that's the cause of war between Tsishekedi Vs Museveni/Kagame axis...Kenyan banks are the brokers of that dirty money.so when you praise Kagame and Museveni you need to be ashamed of yourself.

I have a secret to tell -- For America, africa is one big country of poverty. It's really not that important to the US> Ruto is just another tin pot dictator of yet another poverty stricken african country and the same applies to kagame and museveni. Africa is not a threat in any way to anyone globally.  It's too poor to be of any real consequence. 


The real fights are between putin/ukraine and China/Taiwan not poverty stricken africa.

Aki the comments are not flattering. Almost 99%. It will take him awhile to get him anywhere near the international star power UK had. Which is baffling given UK and pombe were bedfellows.

What are you saying?are you aware Americans make over $10BN USD annually from DRC alone using Museveni and Kagame?

Are you also aware American companies make billions of dollars through supply of military equipment,epz/sez trade deals like AGOA?

Do you know how business USAID gives to American companies through donations based purchases?

Are you aware how much American bank/funds make though Eruobonds infrastructure bonds from African governments?

Th3 African 3economy is worth hundred of billions of dollars.

Two misconceptions:

1) Lending money is a business.Americans or Chinese lend money to Kenyan GOVERMENT for their banks to earn money inform of interests and pay tax to their governments...these debt is dollar denominated which is very expensive for Kenyans.Like Ruto said we should borrow money locally from pension funds syndicated bank financing and mobile money.

2) Uhuru did not borrow money from China only,He borrowed lots of from other countries and while that happened,European and American multinationals made alot of epz sez trade deals which makes them the biggest Kenya trading companies and their companies earn money from Kenya without paying tax and remitting it to their countries.

Banks telecoms etc are western not Chinese.THINK
