After 10yrs in county gov and many years in NGO - he declared 120M assets. No a whiff of scandal in kwale. He performed so well her deputy won. No drama. Get the job done. No mega scandals.

I think there is something about Salim Mvurya that is inherently and consequentially different from nearly all our other practising politicians.

... and I think it is genuinely deep and egalitarian.

When CS Salim Mvurya came into power, going to a national school or university was unheard of. In our villages, class 8 and form four was the greatest achievement.
CS Mvurya came with elimu ni sasa program. This program offered full scholarship to anyone who was admitted (1)
