No word on State Capture commission. This is a low hanging fruit to deliver justice and set way for ARA to recover monies for relief foods. The drought situation won't go away in next six months.

A hungry family won't buy fertiliser. He needs to stop waving middle finger to the hungry.

Yes he is going too soft on Kenyattas and their gang. I wonder why. Maybe he has decided no need for drama - he will go for results - fuliza style. Attack Brookside the way he is doing.

He should thank Uhuru he could use Uhuru Gardens today otherwise he and Korir(ex-langata MP) had other ideas of private gain for this 68 acre piece of land.

Empty seats in the public arena at Uhuru Gardens on October 20, 2022. Kenya is marking its 59th Mashujaa Day celebrations at the venue (https://www.the-star.co.ke/news/2022-10-20-empty-seats-as-kenyans-celebrate-mashujaa-day-at-uhuru-gardens/)

The hallowed ground that Kenya’s founding fathers chose to celebrate Independence day in 1963 and the republic status in 1964 is now a splendid space for celebrating and reflecting on the country’s struggle for freedom and post-Independence achievements. Years of neglect after Independence lead to attempts to grab parts of the land by unscrupulous people for private gain

Ruto should transfer Nairobi PCs and DCs for failing to mobilize crowds

Pure unadulterated nonsense. This is the stuff you criticized the Uhuru govt for.
Ruto/RiggyG have already made it clear that the work of commissioners should only be guided by Government (UDA) manifesto and only a fool would think mobilizing crowds is one of them.

Sub-county and County Commissioners and chiefs are to remain apolitical and focus on service delivery.

Gachagua said they don't have time right now because they are dealing with crisis and once they can get these crisis out of the way, they will have the time to focus on state capture.

How now brother pundit?

mobilize how? pay people to attend? Force them?

I believe if people love you, they will automatically attend the rallies. Due to the prevailing harsh economic conditions very few see the need to attend such events. unless of course if you have a fanatical base like you know who.

Then again pundit you are beginning to sound like former nyayo era pc's called Luka Galgalo and Fred waiganjo who made sure moi's rallies were always packed. He would forcefully eject pupils from classrooms, close down markets and businesses and force everyone to go and line up along the routes moi was to going to pass, to clap and wave at him, and subsequently attend useless gatherings to build gabions kuzuia momonyoko wa udongo, which of course made the man to believe he was quite popular!

That job of PCs and DCs to ensure people attend such rallies. These are not political. That basically mean working with schools and such. Most kids woul love the opportunity to participate in choirs, songs and dance before the president in such celebration. Issuing mini kenya flags..the whole shebang. It promote patriotism.

patriotism comes naturally!

The job of a pc or dc is not to ensure citizens attend such gatherings. Their mandate ends at informing the public of such events. whether the citizens attend or not is non of their concern.
