One year in remand. That's someone who has been jailed for a year without being convicted of a crime despite the constitution guaranteeing a right to bail. Dont blame the magistrate whose calendars are full back to back.

We need to build more magistrate courts in every sub county with a prison - hire more magistrates and prison warders.
