Due to their ownership (state capture) and their blantant abuse of public trust in last election
1) Starve them completely of gov funding.
2)  Direct funding to gov media - fix KBC management and debt issues.
3) Support smaller players - 6B that goes to citizen alone - can keep 100 community radio stations a float and profittable.

Perfectly put, point 3 is also my goal, fund those local TV and radio stations, Citizen needs to be punished to the fullest. We need equity in the media they had thought that they own Kenya.

You are advocating dictatorship.
You will fail as Kenyans have moved on from those days of Arap Moi.

We cannot allow murdoch kind of media empire that Macharia wants to pull. Media is so critical it needs to be regulated. Nobody should own more than 15% - freyquencies are limited public assets

What does he mean by he bought the frequency allocator vehicle? How was he able to do that without working with Michuki?

This story just highlights again the problem with Kenya's economy (Is they anyone making money honestly and without trying to manipulate or use government largesse?

Now we can see how Macharia got all those radio stations. He just gave himself the licenses and locked out any competition.

Ruto has plans to start his media tv, newspapers, and radio stations all over EA. In 2030 he will be the most significant media guy in EA. His Hotels are also starting to pick up speed. His Quarry in our Neighborhood in Kamagut is slowly gathering steam.
Looking forward to Hiring 1000 people soon as he supplies about 30 counties with road and building materials. In brief, Kenyatta's empires are nose-diving as Ruto's elevating!

Is this why he was elected? to enrich himself?

He operates in private sector. Uhuru used KRA to undermine his businesses, but now that the marketplace is free of induced thumbs on the scale, he has to join everyone in doing business!
