The power company passes the costs to everyone else and the price keeps going up!!!

That indeed is not right unless they are doing SRC.

What percentage of electricity is being lost?
Lets say 5%. This will have to be passed to the legal paying customers, amounting to about 1% per customer. Why cant the power co meter this?
