Results verification ends as presidential outcome expected today
The five-day verification of results forms has come to an end on Monday with the IEBC expected to declare the results of the August 9 polls.
The 15 verification tables at the Bomas of Kenya were empty on Monday morning.
Only a few tables are occupied with clerks engaging in low-tone conversation after finishing paperwork.
Inside the auditorium, both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza's seats were occupied to capacity by 9 am.
Foreign envoys and ambassadors were also seated as early as 8.30 am, signalling a possible declaration today.
There is also a heavy presence of security personnel both at the auditorium, surrounding areas and the main gate.
Both Kenya Kwanza and Azimio are at the venue awaiting the big announcement by IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati.
-
They are clearing the area - the announcement is imminent
-
Both sides still claiming victory.

Dont believe the hype. Azimio setting stage to refuse the results. Its well orchestrated . They knew days ago they had lost and were wishing for a rerun .Then they got instructions to claim victory till end.
Nothing different from 2007. Railas wont accept any defeat as long as he believes he has support of Half the nation. In 2017 he was defeated by almost 2 M but he was crying he was rigged now imagine being defeated by 200k.
Hawa Ni Nusu mkate wanatafuta.
Both sides still claiming victory.

Kenya Kwanza side is full - Azimio side half empty
Seem only clue

Yes agreed, they are just shouting we are winning, so their supporters become shocked when Chebukati , they start saying Kimeibwo and start rioting
