… a while back.  Brilliant linguistics prof.  Best days behind him no doubt.  But to say America has censored Russian propaganda is legit baloney.  That garbage is easily accessible from anywhere in the US.  It’s harder to access Navalny’s views though, for rotting in a Putin prison.

It began immediately. RT was booted out of Youtube. Even the one based in and operated from the US with kina Abby Martin which freely criticizes Putin was immediately shut down. I only know what Russians are saying through independent news from other countries and vloggers in the West but not from Russians.

In the US.

He used to know.  His takes on print media were often illuminating and spot on.  But he seems out of touch, even delusional, in 2022.  I have no trouble accessing Russian propaganda.  It’s just a matter of going to their websites, twitter, Facebook etc.  Chomsky is in a time capsule circa 1970s.

I have no doubt the US government would love to shut down Russian propaganda.  It doesn’t mean they have.
