Any form of development is good for the country….definitely a plus for Kenya. You would think with all these business potential our leaders would rise up and develop new hubs like Naikuru, Kisumu, Kericho to not only provide employment but ease up the congestion chocking up Nairobi.

........" Mr Kenyatta added that the textile sector, which has the potential to create 200,000 jobs in the next 24 months, is a priority area for job creation. He urged Kenyans to take advantage of market access through the African Growth and Opportunity Act, the European Union Economic Partnership Agreements and other facilities favouring emerging markets to aggressively grow the sector."
I wonder why people wouldnt take these up...how available are these opportunities or are they only good on paper?

They are available,do your research,

6 billion given mzungu model of consultancy and seminars will do very little just a job offer for State dept sanctioned firms ..
nothing much can be achieved as long KENGEN and KP despite all those govt subsidies are selling power so expensively .....
but the egyptian subsidies are just off the grid " Egypt spent about Sh1.76 trillion on energy subsidies, amplifying the high appetite international manufacturers have for Egypt."
