Only 29% of Americans want President Joe Biden to run again in 2024, according to the newest poll shared with the Washington, DC outlet The Hill on Friday. Meanwhile, 71% of the respondents were opposed to having Biden try for a second term in the White House. The same poll showed the 79-year-old Democrat’s overall approval rating was down to just 38%.

Biden is a fumbler. Folks knew it but were fed up with Trump. But Biden is yet to tackle covid 18months later, Afghanistan was a huge embarassment and a real show of his incompetence. Now inflation is through the roof and the man wants us to focus on abortion.
Fox and the Rethugs have an easy run with the videos of his endless gaffes. The worst is when he fell twice on the way up Air Force One.

If he makes it to the ballot, he will still be a millions times better than demented Trump or Trump-backed rethuglican. Last time, there were 80+ million liberal democrats at the polls. With supreme court blunder, expect 90+ million votes thronging the polls this time.

Forget USA politicsit’s a waste of time, as long as we have the electoral college, the minority( conservatives and mostly white will continue to rule this country forever) all the conservative Supreme Court justices were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote, how is that the will of the people? Republican who control most states are gerrymandering boundaries to their favor so the minority votes are completely neutralized, it’s a rigged system run by corporations, total bullshit.

I agree with you except I see it as a duopoly. Anyone thinking Dems are not agents of corporations needs to dig deeper. They were long taken over, since Clinton era. :D
And I know it makes no difference in America's case but ideally, courts should not be bothering about any "will of the people" that has not been translated into law in some way. They are not supposed to be politicians but interpreters and appliers of the Law only. In fact, I've always found it strange that lower-level judges are elected in America: talk about judicial interference :D A judge shouldn't be concerned about "what people/voters want" when they're deciding matters, only the facts of the case before them and the applicable law. It's no wonder it's so skewed against poor minorities. A lot of the time, "what people want" is someone to crucify. DAs and Judges should NOT be subject to popular elections. That part of the American system is bonkers. A system like the one that selects SCOTUS is ideal in a different environment than the US where everything is tribal and political nowadays.

Trump 2.0 will be entertaining. I hope Trump wins the nomination and Wins another election via Electoral college and loses the popular vote
