What Western governments dont understand is they have been played by Putin . The World order is currently being destroyed.
All those G7 Leaders meeting in Germany in the next 5 years will have been voted out. Their economies will shrink as the economies of East grow .
I think Merkel was the only one who understood how to manage Putin . 2014 Minsk deal was a suprise for many of us. a Mistake by Putin because of Merkel.
The current sanctions are a mistake . They never worked in 1920-1930. They made U.S.S.R. stronger and partly the reason U.S.S.R won against Germany in WW2. Russia now is looking internaly and using EAST to strengthen itself. In 10 years time they will nolonger require Weatern Govt , however that cannot be said of the West.
Germany in Automobile industry is getting edged out by Asian and American manufacturers. Once they weaken in that sphere they become another Great Britain.

Exactly. They are now buying gas and anything russian with Rubble. Rubble just joined USD, Euro, Swiss Franc, British Pound, Yen and Chinese Yuan as global currencies. When the war end - Russia will continue selling it's minerals in Rubbles.
Biggest losers will be US and Germany-France(Euro).

Terrible analysis. Russian Ruble is worth zero. Nobody buys rubles nor wants to (can only be used to buy silly chinese garbage and Indian curries)
In short, all russian companies must convert 80% of their income to ruble so they create an artificial demand. Externally, nobody wants it, but internally, they are FORCED to buy it so the rate is artificial.
Basically, it's like getting a life sentence in prison and someone giving you $10 million dollars but telling you, you can't use it or transfer it to anyone else.

With Sanctions against Russian Oil and gas you expect the Energy prices to go up and not the other way around.
This is the real cause of inflation even Kenyan in U.S. are now asking for help from Kenyans to get by and or are using their investment /savings from Kenya.

Russia with 11000 sanctions has an inflation rate that has stabilized at 15% while in both Europe and the US it is approaching 10% and still climbing. Gas prices here in the US are on average 5 bucks a gallon and Biden is so confused he is offering 18 cents a gallon reprieve by suspending federal gas tax for three months. By the end of summer some governments might not survive. Meanwhile the seven clowns plus that lying lady of the EU are busy promising to counter the Chinese belt and road with another joke. Same people ignore the fact that Kenya has progressed from money being sent by diaspora from Western countries. Not Russia, China and all the crap. Despite being second biggest economy China takes from Africa and dont give much.

We oppose western policies that harm the global economy or well-being. They are the leaders of the world. China is not causing any global problems - when it did - during covid- we called it out. If Russia was causing problems - we would. The world is mostly run by US and it's lackeys in Europe - they deserve as much praise as they deserve condemnation.
Western world caused coloniliasm, slavery and many evil things. We cannot just ignore that because Kadudu is eking a honest living in Germany and send coins to his family.
We have a misguided war that is crushing poor countries - making many unable to eat or buy medicine. They should consider poor countries before they impose sanctions that messes global economy. If they want this economic war to continue - no problem - send poor countries money to sustain them.
Otherwise sit down with Russia and Ukraine - sort that mess - before they send us back to stone age.

I"ve never been to Russia, but I have been to China and it's a shithole. Anyone thinking it'll become a world power in our lifetime or other lifetime has simply never been to china. China has two sets of laws -- one set of laws for communist party members and another set of laws for everyone else. It's a police state. Take a walk in any city in China and you'll see it.
Russia is a mafia state. No democracy, no rule of law...a mafia state ruled by Putin and his thugs. This is why nobody trusts the ruble or the yuan (you cannot trust currencies of gangster states where there's no rule of law, no democracy, no open societies and where things are hidden.
You can tell how popular a country is by the number of people that want to immigrate there (where are china and russia on that list?)

Exactly. WHy do we have restrictions on goods within Africa? What happened to former swarths of land that used to produce wheat in Nakuru? Take the land back and lease it to investors at minimal price and then export the food.
