Yes they got paid.Everybody does thatt including UDA.And it doesn't require state house money to do that.so try a new line.

Secondly,Once paid,were they forced to stay in the stadium against their will?Was there a gun on their head?

I believe Raila will do well in Meru - he has Munya and Kiraitu plus Uhuru.
Combined - swimming against the Hustler Nation current - each can contribute 15 percent.
Munya last time gave Raila 15 percent swimming against similar wave.

In my MOASS I had Raila at 45 against Ruto 55 percent in Meru;

Raila I think he has dropped 10 percent the last few months.
Now it looks like 65 percent for Ruto versus 35 percent for Raila Meru;
Kiambu looks a little 70:30 percent for now.
Gachagua choice has helped Ruto elsewhere except Kiambu and Meru.

Uhuru has simply disappeared - never really appeared on the ground tagging along Raila and explaining.
All people heard are rumours in Sagana and such.
Martha has limited political skills and has trust issues.
She cannot replace Uhuru - who can be good in retail politics - but he is afraid of being heckled.

Generally Uhuru decision not directly campaign for Raila - that would have seen Raila score 35 percent of Mt kenya - will mean Raila will be down to 25 percent on average.

Generally below in Nyeri-Muranga-Embu cluster. Above in Kiambu & Meru.

Ruto doesnt have to worry because Western big ones of Bungoma-Kakamega-Vihiga will cover Kiambu-Meru.
