Good but i hope the impeached governors are barred kabisa by the 3-judge bench. CS or CEC i agree should not be barred over censure.

Why are afraid of raia..let the people decide..I can. Understand if it's appointments though mataingi n gicheru impunity is over the top but political class really out to be judged by public

Doesnt make any sense. So somw few Senators can impeach a Governor for political reasons but Millions of Kenyans cannot have a say for the Governor to be their representatives.
If say Sonko was indicted by Courts then it would be another story.
Orengo himself during Sonkos impeachment was categorical that it was political process. Sonko had a disagreement with his party boss and his party boss marshalled forces to throw him out of Governors seat. You know that Uhuru forces did pay money to MCA and senators to do that .
Waigurus case was even worse , She was saved for political reasons . She camped at Railas residency to be sanitized .
Let politics be politics and Courts handle civil/criminal matters.
Once Sonko is in the ballot rest assured he will become Mombasas Governor . There is Euphoria with Sonko.

This is a legal issue. Politically you could be right -- but the law says convicted criminals cannot vie. The bench will determine if impeachment meets that threshold of conviction.
Earlier Pundit et al argued court cannot suspend governors... cause they are elected. Judges disagreed and Waititu, Sonko were suspended long before they were impeached.
