Google's YouTube is now supporting 60 frames per second videos.
To watch the clips at 60fps you currently need to use Chrome and be sure to select 720p60 or 1080p60 from the settings menu of the video player.
YouTube says this feature will be available for motion-intense videos.

movies are shot at 24fps. Isn't that horrible?

Don't get the difference. I saw Hobbit, 48 frames, just looked like a regular film. I didn't get why it had been so criticized for not sticking to 24 frames. I guess i'm just not a tech person.

It may not be a visible difference but in action and movement.
The human eye perceives about 150 frames a second I think. So when you pan your eyes across the room fast is still is 3 times more clear than this movie.
I think the human eye is just used to being lazy. But the effort wasn't in vain.
