They cant allow Sonko to overrun them. Mombasa, Malindi and Lamu is their birth-right just like Zanzibar. The fightback will be intense. They will pour money. They may even do another Likoni on Wabara by inciting Mijikenda and other muslims to attack wabara.

Nobody has ever wanted Sonko
Because he breaks EVERY GODAMN RULE in politics - more like Trumph.
The thing is he is very smart, has charisma, very brave, and very monied.
He is going to win - you see opinion polls swinging- because he has kambas and mijikenda - and wabara are tired being run by few arabs.
The arabs are now looking for way to fight back.
You can almost predict they will go for religion.
They cannot run to mijikenda for coastal protection - because Kingi/Mvurya dont want to be below Joho...they are now governors too.
