China is fighting here a battle it cannot win. Zero covid policy will not work. Let the people get infected slowly but sure as there is no other way around it. Also it seems China's vaccines are not as effective as of other countries. This is very hard for the CCP to admit. Am sure the top cream of the country is vaccinated with foreign vaccines.

Exactly - they seem to overrate their ability to control chinese and china. China will have to go through the pain - other countries went through. Magufuli was brave warrior who choose to die for the country - and Tanzania probably escaped the economic carnage.

Remember China even refused to work with WHO to find the main source of the covid-19.
Malipo ni hapa duniani. Now it is only China in the world still dealing heavily with covid-19. The rest of the world though wounded, has moved on.

Reason they refused is because US being left out yet they know. Financed gain of function labs.

If the answer is as simple as that, why did China not expose the US?
Sometimes we should just stop copypasting anything that is said in the net.

Btw, the US also finances research labs in Kenya. These too are bio labs and does not mean they mean evil for mankind or for the country. Lots of high skilled Kenyans working in those labs and am sure they are not complaining.

Us should work with China and help them get hold of vaccines with better efficacy. It is in the interest of us to not have Chinese economy shutdown. The supply chain will be fucked up for a longtime to come. Seem local China officials are just improvising as they go. Omnicron is not easy to just lock. They need to ride the wave. The problem is that Chinese live in extended families so old people may be be venerable. China is in a pickle. It is fighting floods with a bucket
