Yep its that bad booing mama Ida however is stooping so low and make Merus look super primitive even with the frustrations and hate people have on gatheca. And that's why gatheca can't go campaigning kwa mlima it will be worse maybe he will be pelted with stones or a mad meru might charge him with a panga like happened to baba in 2007. Baba was lucky as guy was shot dead just a few meters before unleashing his "sealine" thats was in Maua area .
Like stated previously Azimio only hope in Meru is Munya as DP thta will give them almost 50% of votes and provide an avenue for rigging. Without Munya Meru goes back to 90% Ruto.

Merus rarely hide feelings and you can easily read their mind without any efforts from a mile away, Merus are poor at concealing emotions but apart from booing they won't result to any other behavior unless rely pushed,but on the other end Merus don't betray they are very loyal and trustworthy people in general and that's why they stubbornly refuse to move from Ruto regardless,Again like you stated the church as always been anti Raila,Ruto on the opposite of this and strengthened his Christian base ,this is what gatheca had reckoned without coupled with hig cost of living then he is done for.

Yes Merus are what you see is what you get. Kalenjin are very secretive and courteous people. For kalenjin - especially men - you're not suppose to display emotions - of happiness or anger - our culture is based on stoicism. Infact intiation rite is essentially meant to transform a happy cheerful boy into stoic man - to remove all emotions - just like police training in kenya - where you get abused or tortured - taken through hell - so you dont get easily provoked and start shooting people over beer fights.

Ruto church thing is working for him - but he is struggling in 10% of the country that is islamic - northern and coastal region - because they see him as outwardly Christian fundamentalist - while Jakom is more muslim friendly - almost at home wearing muslim skullcap - Tagiya - with Joho and junet.
