Seem Gachagua is a loner - utility player - not the real team player or the striker- that can seize opportunity and display leadership

Naona Ruto selling hiyo DPORK yake to even Kalonzo :)

Downgrading Gachagua as DPORK...if I was a Kalonzo I would go for Gachagua..he is weak. In politics like in life - you take opportunities like these - and run away with it. It not always Ruto will disappear for two weeks. Gachagua should have displayed that he is not just first time MP - but someone ready to be DPORK - someone ready to step in if PORK was out.

He he has failed. His position is now open for all. He can go for Interior Minister.

Slow down Pundit. Rigathi is playing his cards right. From your comment, is that not the issue WSR is facing with UK??? While i don't believe that that Rigathi is VP material, in the absence of WSR, He has played his roll correct. When he is asked to step in to cover WSR, He's game. I will leave it at that. I would not make him DP if I were WSR. He knows that just too well.

Politics is dynamic. If Gachagua today wakes up and screw up - it will be gone
Gachagua is front runner for DPORK but he is letting it slip under his fingers.
Weta is doing better than him.
Even if DPORK has to be GEMA - he must at least prove himself capable of being a national leader.

So listen careful your dung fly - I am downgrading Gachagua a few notches lower but he still leading candidate because realpolitik demand a kikuyu be made DPORK - but the decision of DPORK wont be made until 10th June when IEBC will expect nomination papers for presidential candidate.

If Ruto was to nail Kalonzo - then Gachagua or Kikuyu wont be as critical as they are now - because Ruto would be looking at 65 percent of the national vote.

If he prove himself a weakling - Ruto will hawk that position to kalonzo - and manage Gachagua like a boss - give him interior ministry

I don't blame pundit he is a perennial watermelon like Kalonzo,goes by the rythm of the day,while I like try to visualize the whole picture before making a call, regardless I see gatheca at the middle of Rutos Mlima problems like I had stated in other threads he is playing a high stakes game with Ruto.

I know you want to sell a Meru like Nowayaha tries to sell Kiambu but I am not in the mix - my job is to analyze politics - and make prediction - those prediction changes depending on how the game moves. Kiunjuri had this thing but he was afraid of Gatheca - he lost hustler nation. Gachagua is front runner simply because he is brave warrior against Gatheca - un afraid to go toe to toe - and he is representing the GEMA anger . You got to know how to play politics.

Gatheca is Uhuru uncle - Mama Ngina father - One Chief Muhoho wa Gatheca. Some of their family properties are named Gatheca. So in Uhuru Mama Ngina side - you wont miss a Mungai (father side), a Muhoho, a Gatheca,a Nyokabi - the paternal and maternal matriach of Ngina-Jomo family.

But I dont know why they call him Gatheca. I know Uhuru is named after his paternal grandfather Mungai - and his bro - after Muhoho the maternal grandfather.

I honestly don't think Noway sells Kiambu,He is More Muranga to me, as for me selling Meru is obvious and plain that's my interest,Kiambu,Nyeri all had PORK Meru nothing obviously we also want to taste power and the road that leads us closer to that must be followed

Shida ni numbers. Kindiki has the raw materials to make good DPORK. Shida yenu you've accepted to be included in Kikuy & others. At least the Imentis did finally get huge pay off with Kibaki. We were with those Imentis in DP - they were very loyal to Kibaki.

Anyway Munya has 50 percent chance of making Raila DPORK. That may force Ruto to consider Prof Kindiki

Have you considered what will happen if Mdvd plays hard ball? Like he did to Raila in 2012 before quitting ODM. He started whining about party secretariat dictatorship, questioning why PORK is reserved for party leader as undemocratic - like didn't know that for years. Then he insisted on primaries universal suffrage - when Raila said this could be rigged by GoK he insisted on 2k delegates per county to vote.

Mdvd can be much more bone-headed than Kalonzo. He may insist on being flag-bearer let alone running-mate. Or else bolt out last-minute from Kenya Kwisha.

Lol if Mdvd demands D/PORK (yes he is delusional enough to demand PORK) - expect his tantrums to be world-class. His "kabila mbili" cries will wipe out UDA in Luhya. 2013 mademoni debacle will be chicken soup.

Own invention. It was Kiunjuri till he went and formed Tissue Paper party. Then it's been Gachagua versus Alice Wahome. The rest I have never considered - because it must be a Kikuyu - and must not come from Kiambu.

Kiunjuri was killed by Munya and his own undoing. He is basically dead.
