Title: Predictably - Kenya Kwanza to welcome 21 small parties
Post by: RV Pundit on March 04, 2022, 10:57:24 AM
They were usual naive odmorons who were claiming Ruto is not interested in a coalition.

But I kept telling them it was not time for coalition building.

Now that UDA nomination is done - just waiting for the date - welcome to coalition building.

And coalition deadline is 10th April - expect Ruto to spend the month of March mostly in boadroom nailing a broad coalition.

Azimio in the meantime - ODM yet to agree to anything with anyone - Uhuru Jubilee is frantically being revived and has sign deals with KANU, Wiper, and many small parties.

You can predict most parties in Mt Kenya having seen how unpopular Azimio is will be keen to align themselves with Hustler Nation or Kenya Kwanza at the top.

I think Ruto should ask Sakaja to come up with power sharing formulae based on number of elected Mps/governors/MCAs with proper weighting.

10Mps from a party should entitle them to nominate one CS - they should nominate list of 5 names to be picked by Ruto based on experiences, aptitude and rapport.

If UDA has 130mps - it will get 13CS.

If ANC has 20mps - it will get 2CS.

If Kuria has 10 mps - it will get 1CS

Kiraitu has 10 mps - it will get 1CS

Kalonzo has 20mps - it will get 2CS

Weta has 10mps - it will get 1cs

That will be about 20-22CS.

Other positions will be shared accordingly.
