It is big deal. Makes the drive from nairobi to my village less than 45 minutes. It is a game changer.

Considering Githunguri has the lowest unemployment level, turn out was great. I doubt Nyoro will make a come back. His goose is cooked. Waititu itanyoroosha nyinyi. In kiambu County at worst I would give him 60% vs Raila 40%...Raila has no path of winning. No message.

Waititu won't comeback. Nyoro will be back because he is seen as safe. People do not care much about county govt. As long as nyoro is work well with mcas he gets elected back ..he has no challenger

I think Jungle will take it. Lower (Thika) versus Upper Kiambu. Nyoro is not a politician. He should go back to Egerton.

Yes, this is why I want kenya to go big on basic infrastructure. I am not 100 percent sold on Ndii bottom up - basic infrastructure in the long term wins. Throwing money to people who may end up buying alcohol and betting with it is not good. There is no gurantee that bottom idiots will rationally invest the money. They wont repay.

Unless the money is lend through Saccos - I see this as throwing good money into a pit. It's better to give money to Githunguri dairy - as cheap loan - to be repaid by sacco - than give every idiotic hustler on the street money.

Yes Githunguri pretty impressive - everyone busy minding their cows - that is model needed in Kenya - dairy and tea farming keep people busy 24-7s

If Uhuru lied to Ruto in public that he will support him after his presidency ends, What about a Kikuyu in a secret ballot?

Does Ruto know that GEMA people hate him more than they hate Raila?does he?

Atalijua jiji.

All the UDA seats won so far.
All the opinion polls so far
All defecting politicians
All the crowds attending.
Everywhere I turn in Nairobi - I see Ruto picture or poster next to candidates
Clearly Jadoung you should concentrate on listening to Benga music.
Raila is one likely to get shocked in election time.
Ruto has gone to war with Kikuyus 3 times- they know he is dependable  - the bond is deep - the coupling strong.

People buy opinion polls,

Politicians are paid to defect,

Kenyan peasants are paid between 200-2000/- to attend political rallies,Never predict political outcome from crowds.

What is wrong being a Luo?

Can't a Luo have an opinion on GEMA vote just like a Kalenjin has an opinion on the same?

Does it mean, just because i love Luo music that makes me a Luo?

I come from Kiambu, 70% of my family still reside, work or do business there. I can reliably say that, in mt Kenya, Ruto will get the least votes in Kiambu, Nyoro and the senator will be re-elected, the women representative will be sent packing and so are most MPs and MCAs, it’s so bad that majority of the MCAs are not even campaigning or using their stolen money, it’s a good retirement though, work little for five yrs and steal enough money to retire. Most of these MCAs are in their 40s so it’s not a horrible deal. Generally, it’s going to be a blood bath in mt Kenya for the incumbents, I am hearing the same thing with Nyandarua where I have lots of family and own a farm. In Muranga, you have a few untouchables like Kangata, Ndidi, Wahome and even Sabina, these guys seem to have genuinely worked to help the people. I do not know much about Njeri but the hustler movement there is very strong like Embu, Meru and Kirinyaga. In general, most middle class, upper middle class and the rich Kikuyus do not want anything to do with Ruto, they do not get the hustler movement or how it will work or who pays for it..

Just be yourself no need of pretending to be  a Kikuyu. Comment as your true self Luo.
These tactics did not work in 2007 and 2013.

Actually Nyar wa Kisumo= Githunguri.

Siasa 101.

UDA will likely carry all Mt kenya seats unless nomination is messed up. Remember election for PORK is 50 plus one - for the rest - Azimio with gazillion parties - will split their vote - and UDA will comfortably carry 95 percent of Mt kenya votes - as majority of votes (more than 70 percent) are allied to UDA.

I remind you to study the implications of the Political Parties (Amendments) Bill 2022 before you post rubbish here. This is not 2017 when this law did not exist.
It will not be possible to "split" the votes of a coalition. You are so dense and hard on hearing. Puga!

Reduce the insults!
Azimio act will not solve nomination headaches btw parties.
Btw ODM and gazillion of parties in it - which party will agree not to field their candidate.
In fact the only reason these parties like Azimio is because they will be able to field candidates.
What those small parties will benefit - is getting political parties fund
Even if they dont have any candidate who eventually win.

Now SIASA 101 - this election outside Kalenjin and Luo - will be battlefield -  UDA mostly versus gazillion of Azimio parties.
UDA has risen to be most popular party with roots everywhere.
I expect UDA to field candidates in almost all the 1,500 wards, 300 const and 47 counties.
