Title: County Courts
Post by: Georgesoros on October 27, 2014, 08:33:23 PM
I see Kiambu has a county court, but does it have a legal framework or its one of those that will be disbanded by the constitutional court?
What kind of cases do they adjudicate?

Its a thing set up by the governor with no MCA participation. How will he pay the court staff?

Governors should avoid duplicating roles that are already catered for. What is the use of this court? Domestic quarrel arbitration?

This kangaroo court can cause you such a headache. They arrest you and summon it. You get fined heavily and suffer. I had to rescue a friend from one in Kisumu. It is for that reason I can't stand Shabir and will never touch his hand as long as I live.

Why should counties invest in such courts? They have better things to do. Nkt!
