This guy got lucky that his friend worked for Boinnett and had connections within police force. He got robbed by police but the pressure from up the ranks was so much to get this c9vered up. That why sometimes in kenya staying in one place is very risky. Anyone these rogue policemen are all 9ver nairobi robbing watu ovy ovyo.

The reporter makes it sound like the arrests came very quickly.
Also how many people know that there is a special unit that investigates police!!

Took days.. usual police and CID PR. They kidnapped him. Cleaned his accounts. He called his cousin after the robbery, his cousin happened to have a friend that was connected with higher in the DCI. He was asked to file a report that police station and while there he noticed that the vehicle that had been used was there. Informed the OCS who panicked. When this was known DCIO arrested these rogue police. Last weekend there was a case where the police were robbing people in a bus stop.

Nairobi is actually well covered by undercover police. I know even in DWT river road area police were known by those that had shops. THe problem that thugs pay these guy protection fee. They only kill the thugs once there is pressure or if the thugs bring attention to the police.

Yes Nairobi city center has hundreds of undercover police - from central and kamukunji - they have eliminated crime - except those they want to happen.
