Turkana,Lamu(near Somalia) and now Kerio Valley.
We are a few years away from Boko Haram menace
-
It would be worse if the oil was to be found in NEP who have history of secession military campaign, are ethnically & linguistically distinct from rest of kenya, have Islamic agenda and a long history of marginalization. Turkana,Lamu and Kerio valley is okay. NEP...that will be too much trouble.
NEP will secede anyday anytime.
Nyanza too can secede if Oil in Nyakach was to be confirmed to be a lot.

Btw: Oil has nothing to do with Boko Haram. I think most of Nigeria oil is found in Nigeria southern coast...Goodluck jonathan homeground. That is where the MEND were operating from....turkana will spring a MEND like incursion....group of thugs sabatoging pipelines, kidnapping oil workers and selling oil in black market....as they hold ransom gov over marginalization.
Boko-haram is just hausa (somali cousin) campaign of seccession...from a south that mirror kenya's south (christian, more developed)

We need to give those counties even 40% of those revenues,if they want to secede let them be,nowadays we have people working anywhere in the world, lastly, there is lots of oil in north Eastern and explorations work going on in mandera,Taipan resources has already discovered 1.6BN barrels of crude oil deposits in mandera county, buy taipan resources shares,
Without Prejudice.

That is a very condescending attitude. What gives you the right to to display such arrogance?
