Dr. Craig Spencer arrived back in the US after spending two months in Guinea. In Guinea he had been treating Ebola patients. So one expects him to all all about quarantine and such so as not to do any harm. Well not so fast:
He returned home on a commercial flight via Europe and "he rode the NYC subway, went bowling at a popular Brooklyn hotspot and spent time at the heavily trafficked High Line in the city's West Village...". He also ate at restaurant and may have had sex with his girlfriend.
Is this really a mistake???

Dunkin did all these and his gf did not get infected. But, this doc should have been more cautious since he knew better.

I saw this on the news and could not believe it.....dude going about his business like nothing ever happened, how reckless can one be surely, and to think that he is a doctor who should have known better. He should be treated and charged with public endangerment....dont this doctors take that hippocratic oath which has the "do no harm" as part of its doctrine? Just amazing

Too many un informed health care workers from America travelling to Ebola epicentre to " treat" people there. Most of these doctors know nothing about tropical diseases. They are just in search of adventure and fame. Most will try write a book or appear in FOX news as " experts"
My take - anybody travelling from Ebola affected areas must be placed under quarantine in a safe area before being allowed to board any flight abroad.

Indeed! Makes you wonder what he contributed to the fight against Ebola if he is so careless and pedestrian. He went there in september and returned in october - barely a month. So subtract the mandatory 2 weeks of training (which he probably got waived because he "is a doctor") and you end up with a ten day extreme tourist.
