Raila Odinga has never engaged his brains(if at all he has) in his 4 decades fighting the governments obstencibly for "democratic space ". He has used coup, demonstrations, goons, propaganda, mercenaries, witchunt, economic sabotage, name it. What we have seen from Dr. William Samoe Ruto so far, right from BBI nonsense to this ill-informed/ill-advised Political Parties Amendment Bill is pure use of brains to stamp authority and be felt. Dr. Ruto's actions have never hurt the economy in any way to have his way. No teargas has been thrown his way or at him yet he has managed to tame this government. If Ruto was Raila, right now the police would have killed citizens in hundreds, businesses would have closed down, the Foreign Missions would have issued pressers asking for "calm and restraint", Bretton Woods institutions would have read long letters from Senator Orengo and Governor Nyong'o, etc. That is the difference between 'Eng'. Raila Odinga and Dr. William Samoe Ruto.

Very true. DP would never do or plan anything that weakens the economy, targets one tribe, or put a Kenyan in harms way. In brief, if welder Raila was Dr Ruto now, we would be having South Sudan's Riek Machar vs Salva Kiir experience!
