Uhuru gameplan is still fuzzy to me.
He clearly has forced governors to "back" Jakom - but as lost the Mps/MCAS/people to UDA/Ruto as the ground dictates.
Raila has a mountain to climb. Ruto has a mountain to keep.
Mt kenya is now totally confused because Uhuru and ground are misaligned.
Jubilee as brand is dead.
Every politician there afraid to join UDA - and knowing Jubilee is an albatross having associated with ODM is now forming own parties - nearly10 parties and counting - PNU, DP, CCK, MBUS, Ubuntu, Wairias own party, TSP, Tujibebe and god knows which other party.
Many governors are being threaten by Kibicho boys with corruption files but soon enough they will say enough.
I see Mvurya has said enough.
There are many governors supporting Ruto but afraid to come out in the open.
The same with many CSes. The vocal ones support Raila..the silent majority are with Ruto.
Mps being non-executive cannot be threaten except in little matters of CDF
End of the day - Judiciary killed devolution and made governors equal to old DCS.
They are just appendage of Prov Administration..because any court case...they have to step aside.
Until that decision is reviewed - devolution will continue to die.
As much as the governors are probably afraid of corruption - they are also afraid of unfair DCI/DPP/EAC
Their security of tenure is gone.
And now they must bow to harambee house like a gov DC...yet they are elected by millions.
