Though the scenery is beautiful, I feel that the road is too narrow for the speed and amount of traffic. For example, at minute 8:27 the black car that was overtaking looked, to me at least, like it just missed colliding with the white car that was traveling in the opposite direction. But maybe in Kenya that's normal space for overtaking. Scary.

Have you tried Ngong town suswa rd? Its a good alternative to Mai mahiu rd.

Yes but last part is not complete...so I heard from my bro. But that will be my new route.

It just requires a climbing lane for slow moving trucks....I am not sure if it will be that expensive considering all the digging needed.

Most kenya roads do not need to be expressways - just climbing lanes on hilly sections. This will eliminate traffic at very cheap costs.

Climbing lanes and an extra lane on any shopping center.

I wish we had one like this going to Narok.
