This is why Ruto need Raila on the ballot. If uhuru was to back someone else - PEV propaganda against Ruto/RVs would have been effective - but the eyes of many mt kenya - Ruto/RV is a enemy you need make peace with because he is your neigherbour - but Raila is an enemy you do not have to. They are wondering why Uhuru even made the handshake when Raila had been vanguished.

This mama is talking rubbish that was used in 2007 to bring Kikuyus out to fight for their man. Where in Kenya can she show an example of a person living in a house or apartment without paying rent since 2007? Very cheap propaganda and she indirectly only blame Luos. Is it only Luos who rent houses?

This is very true...it predates Kikuyus. Raila started with Nubians in Kibra. Raila incited Luos and they grabbed Nubians houses. It lead to bloody fight that killed 100 people. This was circa 1990s.

This was repeated when Raila was Housing Minister in 2005 - where he refered to slum landlords - as structure holders - without rights.

It had led to many death - some kikuyus landlord - brought Mungiki to Mathare - there were about 40 deaths in one single night.

This was 2001

Tensions have been high in Kibera since October 31, when Kenyan President Daniel Arap Moi visited the area and announced that residents were paying too much rent to Nubian landlords and called for them to be lowered. Following this Energy Minister Raila Odinga, whose constituency includes Kibera, called on the population to stop paying rent until it had been reduced by 50 percent.

Odinga, who belongs to the Luo, Kenya’s second largest tribal group that makes up the vast majority of people in Kibera, told a meeting of angry residents, “The government is the true landlord, the landlords are the tenants and the tenants are the subtenants... the government will tell the landlords to lower the rent.”

The speeches by Moi and Odinga were followed by a rent strike. Fighting then broke out when the Nubian landlords came to collect the rent and residents refused to pay.

Odinga is a noted demagogue, who as leader of the National Development Party stood against Moi in the last elections in Kenya in 1997. After Moi’s Kenya African National Union was re-elected, he dropped all criticisms and accepted the post of energy minister.
