This is sad because a lot of poor people are going to be the first victims. Evil stuff. The fact that oil companies knew these and kept it under wraps shows you how foolish human beings are. This stuff is depressing

You put too much stock in to this. Oil companies are scapegoats, the mainstream explanation for global climate change which solely blames carbon and other greenhouse gases is simply wrong. I will make a thread on this.

I don't share nothing with Trump ideologically.
I actually believe in human induced climate change.
I believe greenhouse gases contribute to global warming.
However, water vapor not CO2, is the dominant greenhouse gas.
It’s almost as if people think climate is this phenomenon, determined solely by CO2, as if we could turn a dial up or down
We are missing so much when we only obsess over CO2
Natural systems are complex and inter related. Water cycle is related to the carbon cycle, both are related to the mineral cycle.
Deforestation, and farm land degradation has released huge amounts of carbon, most of the CO2 in the atmosphere is not fossil fuels.
Therefore we need to focus on the soil.
We need to fix the hydrological cycle. We have interrupted it by removing vegetation, paving over surfaces, etc.

The consensus in the scientific community is that global warming is caused by c02. Majority of this co2 is from human use of fossils fuels. There is no other proven cause. Anything that is organic produces carbon. If it is processed to burn faster then there is more carbon. If you burn lots of trees youll produce lots of carbon. With no trees to consume the carbon and produce oxygen for humans, one cant imagine what'll happen.

Hydrology is a new entrant in to the field of climatology, it is only 10 years old. CO2 as the primary greenhouse setting the planet's thermostat is 70 years old.
It is a new way of looking at climate, it is not adversarial or denying mainstream climate science, it is complimenting it.
The proponents of hydrology are guys like Walter Jehne - Australian soil scientist, and Michal Krav?ík - Slovak water scientist associated with New Water paradigm, et al these are mainstream accomplished scientists not some kooky Alex Jones type science deniers you guys have in mind.
Nuance is in short supply on the internet, people love fighting and throwing mud instead of listening carefully and actually learning.
Not one scientist has ever said no, that’s wrong. They all say yes, that’s climatology 101.
This new field carries an enormously hopeful message if you care about climate.

It is one of the technologies out there used as a last resort.

I think you are alluding to cloud seeding.
We are not talking about the same thing.
I'm against technical fixes Soros, I stated that in my post.
Cloud seeding falls under technological fix. It is unsustainable, it has unintended consequences that are even more damaging.
Geoengineering to counter global warming has been contemplated, it is too dangerous.
Eco restoration is the solution.
