Yaani Raila has become a Luo king. That is shocking. Ruto numbers are high than those.

Radio Africa is owned by Ghanina Quarco and Kiprono Kittony - the foster home of Baba Moi. Moi stayed in Kittony family while he was young so he could attend school - taught by famous Barnett - whose name is eponymous with Kabarnett town.Kittonys were amongst the first christian -in Baringo.

Late Reuben Chesire and Kittony Zipporrah are sisters - and I believe Kiprono Kittony is son of Zipporah.

So Gideon Moi runs it.

I think they had sold it to South Africa company - who had attempted to sell it to Ruto - but seem the deal was cancelled.

The story of Moi, former Eldoret North MP Reuben Chesire and his sister, Zipporah Kittony, started when young Moi was accommodated by Isaiah Chesire, the father of Reuben and Kittony, when he was attending school in Kabartonjo. Chesire is also said to have paid school fees for Moi.

Seems Ghanian Quarco is a close friend to Raila

https://www.kenyans.co.ke/news/53709-radio-africa-ceo-gifts-raila-after-fake-burial-report-star-newspaper

He intimated that Quarcoo had paid a courtesy call to Odinga as a friend and “Its not the first time he is doing it.”

Photos shared by the former PM showed the two in a jovial mood, the Radio Africa CEO having gifted Odinga an African checkered shuka which he wrapped himself in.

“Was glad to receive this beautiful shuka from my friend Mr. Patrick Quarcoo who paid me a visit this morning,” the ODM party leader captioned the photos on social media.

A quick dig into their friendship revealed the close relationship they shared and that Odinga condoled with Quarcoo during the internment of his wife Gifty.

"Gifty was a very special person. Rooted beyond belief gentle and soli as a rock Always unfazed quiet but deeply insightful she brought stability and sense of purpose to all she met,” he grieved his wife.

Yeah the mainstream media is handshake; Nation media is also captured. That used to be independent. All gov advertising revenues were centralized so you do not want to mess with gov.
Thank goodness for social media
Otherwise Citizen and macharia stable is Raila
K2TV, People and it's stable Uhuru
Standard Media and it's stable Gideon
The Star and it's stable is Raila-Gideon Moi poodles.

Government Advertising Agency (GAA) is killing independent media in kenya.

Back to the poll
1) Objective is to really kill Raila - and reduce him to Luo ethnic king. This has been Uhuru-Gideon Moi - Nancy strategy.Once Raila has been reduced to just a Luo King - he can be forced to support anybody in the Anti-Ruto gang - he can be forced to do another TOSHA.

2) Also show Ruto lead is beatable - if all the minions unite.

Who are these ‘others’ with 43%?

The twirra polls are more accurate

Jimmy Wanjigi, Gideon Moi, Justin Muturi, Reuben Kagame - it must be a long list of useless candidates
But if they put undecided at 15-20 percent - that is more credible

https://www.the-star.co.ke/news/2021-08-23-ruto-leads-but-cant-win-in-first-round-poll/

A new opinion poll by Radio Africa Limited shows deputy President William Ruto leads the 2022 race with a gap of 29 per cent ahead of his closes opponent, ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The poll conducted between July 22 and 30 shows 43 per cent of those surveyed would vote for Ruto to be president if elections were held during that period.

This is, however, short of the 50 per cent plus one vote required to win the presidential contest in the first round.

However, 15 per cent of the 3,127 adults polled across the 47 counties said they are still undecided on who they would vote for.

North Eastern leads in the number of undecided voters at 24 per cent followed by Nairobi (21 per cent), Upper Eastern (20 per cent) and Central (20).

The regions with the lowest number of undecided voters are Nyanza (five per cent), Lower Eastern (six per cent) and South Rift (nine per cent).

The undecided could be waiting for the formation of the final coalitions and the selection of running mates.

Six per cent of the respondents in the poll funded by Radio Africa Limited, however, said they would not be voting if elections were called today.

Those who would vote for Raila were 15 per cent, with the third-most preferred candidates being Kanu chairman Gideon Moi and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i at five per cent.

Additionally, when asked who they think will be president regardless of their choice of candidate, 49 per cent said Ruto, with 16 per cent saying Raila and five per cent each for Moi and Matiang'i.

The poll reflects sentiments shared by President Uhuru Kenyatta in meetings with Raila and other former Nasa principals.

The President is reported to have told ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula and Moi that they should unite and support Raila.

He is said to have shown them polls indicating the only way to beat his deputy — with whom he has fallen out — is to unite and support Raila.

The poll shows Mudavadi shares the fourth position, with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua with three per cent support.

Kalonzo takes the fifth position with two per cent alongside Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho. The sixth position goes to Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, with one per cent support.

Other candidates would get the remaining one per cent of the votes.

On demographics, 44 per cent of the men polled would vote for Ruto while 42 per cent of women would with his highest support coming from those aged between 18 and 24 and 30 to 39 years.

Raila attracts 16 per cent of the male respondents and 13 per cent of the women, with his support coming mostly from those aged above 40 years.

Ruto scores highly in all regions, except  Nyanza where 37 per cent said they would vote for him, compared to 39 per cent who said they would vote for Raila.

Ruto’s highest support appears to be in South Rift at 59 per cent and North Rift at 56 per cent, followed by Uhuru’s Central Kenya backyard at 49 per cent.

The larger Mt Kenya region is seen as a centrepiece in the 2022 elections as it holds a huge vote bloc but has no presidential candidate.

The region is currently fragmented, with Uhuru seeking to have the opposition united and sell it as a package in the region.

A portion of Uhuru's supporters is drumming up support for Raila while another section is in Ruto's camp.

Uhuru's Jubilee Party has been losing ground and has lost in recent by-elections to the Ruto camp in Juja and Kiambaa, which are in his home county of Kiambu.

Moi's largest support base is in the North Rift and the South Rift at nine per cent followed by Lower Eastern at eight per cent.

Matiang'i scores highest in Lower Eastern and South Rift at 11 per cent and comes second to Ruto in Central at 10 per cent.

Methodology

Random, Multi-stage stratified using PPS (proportionate to population size) Spread across all the 47 counties in Kenya. Sample split was guided by all adults age 18+  proportionate to size as per the KNBS Census, Sept. 2019.

Kenyan adults, aged 18 and above living in all the 47 counties of Kenya

Computer-Aided Telephone Interview (CATI)

+/- 1.75 % with a 95% confidence level (Note: Higher error-margins for sub-samples)

English/Swahili

The Survey was funded by Radio Africa Limited.

A comparison with previous Radio Africa Limited polls done in October 2020 and January 2021 shows this is the highest level of support yet for Ruto.

He polled 41 per cent in October, 39 per cent in January and now 43 per cent.

On the other hand, Raila's fortunes appear to be dwindling with each poll, having polled 28 per cent in October, 20 per cent in January and 14 per cent in the recent poll.

Interestingly, Moi and Matiang'i have had the largest jumps in the three polls.

Moi was at two per cent in both the October and January polls and is now at five per cent, while Matiang'i had one per cent in the previous poll and now ties with Gideon.

Mudavadi had three per cent in October, four per cent in January and is now at three per cent where he ties with Mutua whose support has dropped from six per cent in October, similar to the January score.

Kalonzo's rating has increased from one per cent in October and January to two per cent.

Those undecided were at eight per cent in October 2020, 21 per cent in January and now 15 per cent, while those who say they won't vote have dropped from eight per cent to six per cent — a similar figure to October 2020.

The number of those who believe Ruto will be the next president regardless of their choice of candidate has remained constant at 49 per cent in the three polls conducted by Radio Africa.

Those in North Rift are the most convinced Ruto will be President at 63 per cent, followed by South Rift at 59 per cent and Central Kenya at 54 per cent.

Those who believe Raila can win the presidency dropped from 30 per cent in October 2020 to 25 per cent in January 2021 and now at 16 per cent.

For Raila, the highest number of those who think he will be the next president is in Nyanza at 30 per cent, which is curiously lower than Ruto's 42 per cent in the region.

Those who say they can't tell who will win the presidency dropped from 20 per cent in January to 15 per cent in the July poll.

Mudavadi's Western Kenya base leads in the belief he will be president at eight per cent but he scores less than five per cent in the rest of the regions.

The poll also shows 32 per cent of Kenyans do not associate with any political party currently, with another 24 per cent saying they feel closest to Ruto's UDA.

ODM has support of 15 per cent, while the ruling Jubilee Party has 14 per cent.

The defunct Nasa coalition has a support of four per cent while Kalonzo's Wiper has three per cent, with the rest of the political parties attracting eight per cent support.

Very interesting poll , Moi and Matiangi poll better than Kalonzo and Mudavadi.
So who supports Moi ? Who supports Matiangi .
This poll smells deep state and the plan is to field Moi against Ruto with Railas support.

They rigged it for Gideon Moi and Matiangi
Ruto figures are also not real...he is way above 43 percent.
But Raila dropping to 15 percent is big deal

This is propaganda poll; by Nancy Gitau and Gideon Moi. Their plan is to reduce Raila into Luo king and then elevate Gideon Moi to be his equal. Then force Raila to Tosha him.

It's most hair-brained idea ever conjured up.But Gideon and Uhuru have enough money to pay for any idea.

Nobody I know support Gideon Moi - even in Baringo - for PORK.

They are wasting Baba - reducing him to 15 percent support :) - next poll Raido Africa and NIS will share a poll showing Gideon Moi has 11 percent and Raila has 10 percent :) :)

And Raila will be told to back the best candidate.

After 2007 polls , I stopped believing such kind of polls.
Ruto dearlyneeds Raila to run for him to win.
In as much as I am against Raila and Kalonzo but truth be said they are a formidable force.  There is now way in this world Moi and Matiangi can beat Kalonzo and certainly Raila is not Mr 14 %.

At this point - Ruto has enough momentum to win with or without Raila. Kalonzo I am starting to believe is the most vulnerable. I really doubt kalonzo will run for PORK - he is broke - and has no muthama to push him around.

Some opinion polls are good. This one is shocking - Matiangi died long time ago in Borabu by-election.

There you go. In 2007 Raila die hard supporters made Raila believe he would win without Kalonzo , Raila was beaten hands down.
In 2013 Same people told Raila to kick out Ruto as Kalenjins loved him to death. The outcome Uhutu President.
Now you are telling us Mt Kenya loves Ruto to death. This is a pure lie. They hate Raila and see Ruto as the strongest opponent against him. If Raila decides not to run , Highly likely Ruto wont become President.

At this point - Ruto has enough momentum to win with or without Raila. Kalonzo I am starting to believe is the most vulnerable. I really doubt kalonzo will run for PORK - he is broke - and has no muthama to push him around.

To reduce all Ruto votes in mt Kenya to anti Raila is rather silly.Ruto has worked with Mt Kenya in three elections and created a strong bond that Uhuru n company have found it hard to decouple.Definitely without Raila Ruto will lose some votes but  Ruto has enough buffer to win with even half mt Kenya votes...infact Ruto can still win with even 30 percent of mt Kenya votes if he hands Dpork to kaonzo and get Weta to bring in Bukusus .What working for Ruto is the unprecedented gema and non gema support base. Remember MOI scored 40 percent in 1997 by creating non gema, Luo, half luhya, half kamba alliance. If Raila is collapsing then it means that KAnu alliance of MOI has shifted to Ruto...for Raila has betrayed them..we need more opinion polls on non gema to understand how badly Raila is doing...and who the beneficiaries are...in my moas I largely kept jubilee performance but we might have to do upward adjustments when we get more data.. Uhuru we know was a difficult sell outside gema but Ruto is not.

Uhuru used to think he commands the following of Mt Kenya until he joined hands with Raila.

I can confidently tell you if Raila Toshas someone else , decides not to be a part of 2022 elections or simply passes on (God Forbid) or Rather Raila decides to support Ruto . Ruto will have a hard time becomimg a President .

But Ruto is not joining hands with Raila. That only way he can lose significant votes. If Raila Tosha a Kikuyu yes Ruto will be in trouble in mt Kenya but Tosha on anyone else won't work..it will just reduce Ruto votes..Ruto has big buffer..approaching almost 60 percent. In this opinion poll he scoring 49 percent in central and yet still at 49 percent of decided votes nationally..that tell you Ruto sio mchezo..by April we could be looking at narc like revolution of 65 percent votes.Ruto has been carefully to avoid pandering to Mt Kenya short demands like 1m1s and Bbi constituencies..while Raila threw caution and went for the two bird in gema bush..only to end up losing everything bar his own Luo base
