Kibicho should get himself basic law classes - he will need them soon.
DPORK is not a civil servant. He is an elected politician in executive - together with president. They are the only elected politicians in the executive.
They can never be equal to ministers or ps or such. They cannot for example become apolitical like the rest are required to be.

Kibicho and Matiangi did cut their teeth from Public service .Kibicho came from Academic world and Matiangi from Private sector and academic world.
They need to learn from Muthaura et all. When a regime change nears you play neutral and or Bow out . Kimemia facilated regime change but when push came to shove he was sacked like nobody. I believe Kinyua now is hands off its only a matter of time before he peacefully bows out. I think only St Marys boys try to push him. Rarely do you see him on media and even as Ruto narrated he picked up his phone quickly during the ordeal unlike Matiangi and Kibicho.
Well if Kibicho and Matiangi fail in their political stint. They will be harrased just like what Moi men went through or what Kamau is goimg through. Kamau was really hated in the Ministry and once he was thrown out they were all over him. He has never known peace.

What happened to the chorus"politics has no permanent enemies" :)

They need to join politics - become governors and such - then they will get political cover - but it appears their plan to join politics has faced serious headwind
