Those roads and highways being constructed in Kenya are 300% overpriced.

Pundit, I see those prices for road construction and compare with here seeing the quality of the end product and I can assure you those prices are much exagerrated. 10-20% is a joke. Labour is cheap in Kenya and that is what is mostly used. There is no reason for building prices in Kenya to compete with European prices.

Kamau was kicked out very early in Uhurus Presidency . There is a reason Macharia a former C.E.O. of NIC bank was given Ministry of Health then transfered to Ministry of Transport. He is responsible for the so called Legacy projects . Thats where the fattest and sweetest meat can be found.

No, Eng Kamau stayed long enough to build himself a Radisson Blue hotel in Upperhill - that is serious money. Macharia has definitely stolen - so much. The KENHA director had also stolen so much he was refusing to quit office. There are merus pale Kenha who have been at it for the longest. KURA, KERRA and KENHA definitely big fat cats.
ARA approach is only hope against graft. Just wait for them to accumulate the wealth and go and nationalize all of them. No need for prison and long court cases.

Kamau did less than 2 years as CS of Transport under Uhurus regime. However he was a longstanding PS of Roads for about 10 years under Kibaki regime.
Yes the only way Mafias were defeated in U.S.A. is freezing their wealth before the cases meaning no money to hire outstanding lawyers,corrupt prosecutors , Judges and intimidate or eliminate suspects.
This is the only effective weapon against corruption.

Yes the ARA is exciting - esp dealing with middle-level criminals enablers of graft.
Once you make them afraid - it becomes hard for top level to misuse them.
