Poor choice of words ... this will force Equity Bank to distance itself from him for the sake of its business:
Ruto said he was invited to the launch of the Sh15 billion vaccine factory, having helped the investor to secure funds through Equity Bank.
“I helped him on one phone call. He said the benefits Ugandans will get is the same that Kenyans will get,” the DP said.

Sure. But none would want the devil to announce that he got 15b given to a foreigner with just a phone call from hell.

Museveni announced this a month ago. This was july 6th. Definitely Ruto has some shares in that thing - seems he is investing his money in the region - Sudan, Congo, TZ and Uganda in the 2nd term...to spread his risks.
DL - Ruto main financier for long time also bought 3 tea estates in Tanzania.
Mr Langat who owns Koisagat Tea Estate in Nandi County has bought three companies from British firm Rift Valley Corporation for an estimated price of Sh6 billion.
Kulei - is also Ruto main financier for long time - because he has a rivalry with Gideon and Moi sons - who are now fighting over Mois wealth - with Philiph Moi and others now backing Ruto - against Gideon. Kulei refused to transfer most of the stolen wealth to Moi - insisted it was his own.

Why do people think Equity is a Muranga Bank ? Same mentality which made Luo Nyanza refuse to take advantage of loans from Equity during Kibaki era.

DP has gift of garb but the more he talks the more you want to believe he is not the sharpest tool in the shed, THINKING ON HIS FEET. Here are more misspoken words:

This exactly what a predicted a few weeks ago.
Kiambaa changed everything for Ruto. It taken Kuria and Kiunjuri some time to understand the impact.
He is realizing like many too late that he made big mistake in Kiambaa - by pulling his candidate for UDA :) :)
Once you allow Ruto a small window - umekwishwa. Saa hii Ruto big plan is to roll over Mt kenya - and paint it yellow-green :)
Yeye na Kiunjuri are under immense pressure to fold camp.
Sasa hiyo CCK - Kuria has to sell - and compete with UDA.
CCK and TSP have no hopes - against UDA - Jubilee maybe better and Kiraitu thing. Kuria and Kiunjuri are one man affairs.
Politics is cuthroat. Some rookie mistakes youre done.
Now he is going to be one lonely man - against UDA joggernaut.
If Kuria is smart - he should wait for April - the fallout of UDA nomination- pick few quality candidates - get 10 Mps and Ruto will give him a CS.
But if he thinks he can sit down with Ruto and negotiate as equal :) :) then he is truly dreaming. He will just be branded, Jubilee Mole.
Besides all negotiation will be left for 9th June - deadline - and then Ruto will unveil DPORK - but for now I think Ruto strategy is to have UDA especially in mt kenya get deep roots - and then take away one or two NASA principles - for rigging margins.

It's actually fake but Kuria should heed my advice - concentrate on the fringes of UDA, wait for UDA nominations, pick candidates and negotiate for CS or two, and of course other goodies.
As one man army against UDA - he will lose - or be branded Jubilee mole.
I dont see how Ruto can pick someone from Gatundu South when Uhuru is from the same village.
Picking a Kikuyu is already a big problem - and Ruto is killing tribal politics so he doesnt get asked that - when he finally unleashed a kikuyu DPORK.

Reactions on the 15 billion shows the financial ignorance and is no difference from the reactions on the potential of enhancing bottomers productivity.
Equity's loan book is now half a trillion plus.
The Group weathered the COVID-19 disruption to register a 51% growth in its balance sheet with total assets growing to Kshs 1.015 billion (One trillion and fifteen billion shillings) up from Kshs 674 billion the previous year, while customer deposits grew by 53% to Kshs 741 billion up from Kshs 483 billion.”
s part of the Group’s commitment to support lives and livelihoods and keep the lights of the economies on by avoiding massive disruption of economic activities, the Group accommodated Kshs 171 billion of loans for customers whose repayment capacity was adversely impacted by COVID-19. This represented 32% of the entire gross loan book of Kshs 530 billion.
