Title: Kiraitu: Mt Kenya elite don't trust Ruto
Post by: Nefertiti on July 13, 2021, 02:22:19 PM
Pundit, straight from the horse's mouth. Your cheap propaganda about Raila doesn't wash. Uhuru and Gema would sooner back Lucifer before they back Ruto.

Quote
Deputy President William Ruto is facing a vicious fight by the Jubilee top leadership following fears of what he might do once in power.

Those opposed to him see him as a strong-headed, callous, untrustworthy, and dictatorial character who can do anything to access or retain power.

This is according to Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi in his new book ‘Beyond Politics'. The book was launched in Nairobi on Monday. It was authored by veteran journalist Njeri Rugene.

Ribena this is your weakness , you like seeing things the eay you believe them.
In the same articles Kirautu is also quoted as saying the following.

Quote
Kiraitu says the deputy president has committed no crime to warrant the fight targeting him, save for declaring his 2022 presidential bid.

The governor says that by fashioning himself as the saviour of the masses, the DP has “posed a threat to the status quo and makes vested interest uncomfortable.”

Despite the woes, the governor adds that Ruto is “at the top of the mountain” politically, adding that such heights “are cold and dangerous places to be.” “It can be very slippery up there,”

Another think most people worry about Ruto is forgiveness - does he forgive? Mmh from what I have heard rarely; after you've lost his trust; he will put you in rehab; normally he will have NIS - of his own - to follow you - until he is very sure;  it unlikely you'll get back to his kitchen cabinet.I am not sure now - but definitely by 2017 - I knew Ruto run his own large intelligence network.Ruto understudied and admired Moi. He is a Moi with a Phd.

With oldies such as kirubi signing out, they are more worried of covid than ruto presidency.

This is the story of Mr Ruto

At the height of his power during the Moi-Kanu regime, Mr Ruto was the anti-thesis of democracy. A cold-blooded conservative to the bone, Mr Ruto has never seen a progressive or liberal idea he didn’t disdain, or oppose. Conversely, he supported every repressive measure under Kanu. He was Kanu’s enforcer and darling.

Perhaps the greatest “sin” Mr Ruto ever committed was leading a crusade against the 2010 Constitution. He led the No Campaign and pulled all stops to derail one of the most progressive national charters in the world. Today, Mr Ruto waxes poetic about the prose in the 2010 Constitution. You’d be forgiven to think that Mr Ruto fathered the Constitution.

Kenyans who are too young or were born after the end of the dark days of KANU misrule need to read history and ask their elders. Tyranny is not a joke thing. Hustler sweet talk is being used to rope in wakabila now, kalenjin supremacism and unfettered kleptocracy will be the operative ideology once he takes over. Uthamaki is a malevolent Kikuyu supremacist ideology but fundamentally it is not violent, however Kalenjinism is a tyrannical violent creed. Torture and beatings in police stations would make a return. Kenyans would be foolish to exchange one for another. RAO is your safest bet.

Last days of KANU misrule were characterized by Raila being a very powerful Minister and the KANUs secretary general.
He directed NDP to support KANUs mischevous agenda in Parliament what you are quouting from Makau Mutua as supporting every repressive measure under Kanu.
