Yes. It was dumb of them to massacre and rape civilians. This can only boomerang in your own country. Also the Tigrayans are hardcore fighters. Not easy to beat them in war.

Look like tigray will soon be an independent nation as they kick federal army out- and Ethiopia will further be divided.
