In his government.  He wants the law amended so that they can use it against small fry for political mileage without dealing with the root cause.  Is there something discriminatory about penalizing those bearing the most responsibility the most?

The proposed changes promote discrimination against public officers with executive powers,” the President’s memo said.

The changes require a State officer with executive responsibility charged with corruption or economic crime to be suspended, at half pay, with effect from the date of the charge until the conclusion of the case within 24 months.

President Kenyatta wants the phrase “executive responsibility” deleted.
