If Raila failed to maximize his advantages after winning 2007, then how does one let Ruto get away with not maximizing his opportunity to be PORK after Uhuru? He had the clearest path to State House under the Uhuruto partnership but messed it up. Now he is fighting his boss, forcing him to look for help in Raila, Gideon etc. If Raila messed up 2007, Ruto equally messed up his State House path in 2022. As at now, he is in pole position to lose everything.
