Ruto should focus on internal affairs. Once things are good in kenya then he can venture to external affairs. Fix the kenya foreign policy first else all looks like scatter gun approach from Sudan to Niger...

He has every right to be jittery. Bazoum trajectory is nearly similar to Hasla's save for handchieth disrution.

Quote
An old friend of Issoufou, who is voluntarily stepping down after two five-year terms, Bazoum long stayed in the president's shadow, taking on nuts-and-bolts tasks such as managing the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PNDS), which they jointly founded.

I underestimated the heartbreaks visited by hasla revolution

I remember watching a documentary on Niger and it was a sad thing to watch. Uranium mines everywhere. Abandoned mines with no safety precautions. People dying young at a very high rate.
France owe this region some reparations or can Nigerians sue at ICC.
All in all Ruto should keep off international affairs, kenya first.

Precisely. Ruto sounds like French water boy.  country foreign policy is in shambles. On Africa stage I would have to downgrade Ruto stock to second or third tier after Sudan and Niger manenos. Fix kenya first.

Ruto 1st business is to disrupt the old order of Africa diplomacy.

So far he is doing good job.

Malema is only competitor.

Africa AU fake diplomacy need to go. We dont need US and EU to issue stern warnings and reactions. Ruto can do it here  before them.

Of course dictators, coup plotters and other retrogressive forces will shout interference and murder.

But Ruto has to chart new path of new progressive leadership. He will be very lonely at first - as he is breaking the old rules where Idi Amin was once AU chairman and Gaddaffi toos.

Only 2 sides of diplomacy, stick or carrot and Ruto has non to offer.
We cannot do Niger thing in the morning, attend mandamano daytime and in the evening beg for food to feed our people. Feed your people first then maybe your neighbors will respect you.
Oh

What's your point? Ruto is the western point man in Africa?
Create more distrust. I can bet sudan will never allow Ruto to mediate their conflict or allow peace initiative coming from Nairobi.

You mean Ruto has lost? Ruto is on sync with western leaders on what need to be done in Africa - democracy, rule of law and progrssive ideas.

Only an idiot like you who support Russia and Wagner do not realize it.

Ruto can sync with western leaders on progressive ideals and likes of china on development agenda.

Ruto has a lot to learn. Sometimes he behaves like someone new in the political scene. What was he learning in the 30 years he has been in politics? Apart from accumulating wealth, it seems he is an ameteur in political affairs.

Quite interesting. So it's Russians who have kicked the Europeans out of Niger.Lots of uranium and gold there which are used to make weapons and gold used as a reserve.

Ruto seems to be the West errand boy.Thats why he even skipped the Russia summit.

He now has enemies in Niger,Russia,China and Sudan,Let's see if Kenya airforce 1 every flies on those territories.

Another interesting thing is that Eritrea president is Putin ally,Let's also see if Ruto flies over those territories.

I don't know about Somalia.

Interesting times.very Dumb moves.

Ruto intends to storm Africa leadership.

And this means what in practical terms? West and central Africa and basically disasters and so is much of East Africa. Southern Africa is a bit more economically stable.
