Apologies for missing yesterday's church,
There is a topic I had promised to handle the previous week. I will do it this week.
1 John 3:18 (ASV)
18 My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth. Let us work towards practical love and not just nice words. Don't just feel sorry and say a prayer for the sick,poor, pay them a visit and give out something. God's love was not empty, it was demonstrated fully on Calvary; He loved and He gave- John 3:16.
At the same time, let us watch lest we give without loving. Paul tells us all that is in vain- 1Corinthians 13. So let our charity be genuine.
