i bought Tesla at 4usd in 2010 IPO. I am no speculator. Tesla still has solid IP leads that will hold once it becomes clear GM and Daimlers cannot keep up. Tesla competition is cheap Chinese with huge scale. Likes of Chinese NIO and BYD are cheap but far from profitable. They will dominate Chinese or Asia Pacific market but Tesla will dominate US and Europe.

Don't sell Tesla unless you are a short/speculator. Long term it's the best.

what will happen to real Mercedes and such cars..it easy for them to go electric and electronic..than for Tesla to build the entire value chain.Why would someone buy Telsa instead of an electric Ferrari or Lamborghini

BTC was a rebut to gleeful Pundit who owns trees in Mau grabbed forest land. BTC has skyrocketed on a grander scale much more than any stock in the world. 1BTC is 50k usd

I own BTC not just Tesla for posterity not speculation. Even if Tesla and BTC shrink by 100% I would not sell because they are longterm assets better than any other stocks or prime real estate today. BTC will be strong so long as there is no alternative currency free of manipulation by the Fed, PBOC or ECB. BTC saved Wikileaks despite US breathing fire and freezing their accounts... even Ruto and Raila have millions of BTC for 2022 campaigns. I doubt a fool like Pundit can run for MCA without landing in trouble over shady exposed 'assets' in Mau or Syokimau

But am not sure if to buy dogecoin.

Actually today I am heading to Mau to buy 5 more acres for my trees - the sure bet long term investment - green sustainable passive investment. I am now 30 acres of trees. My cousin is at 50 acres.

Tesla has staying power.. Tesla Autopilot is (full self-driving) FSD Beta already - as everyone else including Waymo (GOOGLE) - are struggling at Level 3. Basically Tesla has galloped to Level 5 for self-driving capabilities. Then Tesla batteries are unbeatable even by Panasonic the Japanese battery powerhouse for decades. Tesla has the biggest Super-charger network - even Daimler or Mecedes don't have that in their own country where Tesla already is well rooted.

Toyota or Nissan lunch is being eaten by NIO and BYD - new Chinese kids on the block targeting cheap segment. Mercedes or Daimler or GM will not beat Tesla while relying on Google Waymo to supply self-driving as they are unable to hack it; while relying on fed or state to supply charging stations; while relying on dealers to sell their cars. They are too slow to innovate and that remains the Tesla edge.

In short
Tesla is better in tech than Big Tech like Google and Panasonic
Tesla has better supply chain than Big Auto like Daimler and GM

Tesla just needs to get 10-15% of EV market and become the biggest auto globally. They look good enough for it.

It is MAU forest land... basically a dodgy investment that a bank would not sign on. And someone says stocks are the casino.

Pundit Tesla mkt cap is back to 660B from 550B in few days.. as semi and pickup truck orders skyrocket. Staying power.

See it this way, Tesla is selling 500k cars yearly as at 2020. From 10k in 2016. Projection is 1m by 2022. The 500k cars per year is DELIVERIES - what they are able to manufacture today - these are orders from 2018. If you order today it delivered in 2022. Plan is to nick quick same-week order-to-delivery in 2022.

I know your assumption is Tesla has only 500k orders but it's actually a manufacturing/scaling headache. Since the 500k is 50% of EV sales worldwide- they only need to hold onto a good share of that - 10 to 15% - and become biggest auto in few years. GM 10m sales are gasoline cars obviously- their share of EV is maybe 2%. With their chameleon innovation pace with Ford, Daimler, Ferrari, etc - Tesla will supplant them as world goes EV from gas.

Tesla of course does not compete with Toyota or Nissan - 10k cars - these are being routed by Chinese BYD. Japan is losing cheap auto to China. Germany and Detroit are losing luxury auto to Tesla. That why VW or GM stocks are stuck at 50B as Tesla hit 600B. Noone sees how GM will convert its old combustion engine assembly into EV so fast, let alone catch up in self-driving. Google and Apple are unable to compete with Tesla

in tech - Uber, GM, VW shut down their hopelessly outpaced self-driving and outsourced.

Have you done research on mega batteries??. I hear that what Tx had to use when everything failed. They can easily be carried from one place to another, plugged in, voila LIGHTS!! Can use solar or power plants to charge.

Being tech is what made them fail to scale manufacturing hence the 2 years order backlog. Cause unlike phones you cannot just outsource auto assembly to China or Vietnam. It needs high expertise on scale.

Bina, am older than your great grandma but I can still pack it. So, they carried truck sized batteries, hooked them to the grid and Austin Tx got their power back while they tried to restore regular sources of energy. Its the future. Batteries were in AZ.

Texas wild storms are easier gig than Southern Aussie 2017 where Tesla wired a state 50% bigger than TX in 100 days.

A Model 3 battery is 78kWh at 350volts.. a mere 1kW that can last 350km on the road. That TX plant could run the city's full EV fleet.
