Buzeki Enterprises, a transport firm linked with businessman-cum-politician Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop, owes the country’s third largest bank by assets, NCBA some Sh2.7billion, adding to the debt pile that has left creditors fighting for the Mombasa-based company’s trucks and trailers.

Holy cow. Actually his decision to enter politics led to his current troubles. He basically spend a fortune and left his mombasa business to run to ground.

From billionaire to dust. Uhuru paid him 1billion kshs for Molo and Kilifi dairies...and now all that is squandered...and Uhuru bank now wants 2.5B.

Life is circular.

Siasa hasara tupu. The poor guy should have stuck in his niche but decided to enter logistics field that he seem clueless.

How does these banks give such big loans to one guy? Tuju gets like 1.5 billion then this guys gets like 2.7 billion. How many individuals are holding billion shillings loan?  Banks will implode. Few more months of economic downturn it will all be over.    How do these guys sleep with a billion shilling loan bearing down on you?

Sounds more like an SGR casualty, than political crash. He still has chance with Uasin Gishu governorship.

Buzeki was mainly doing clinker and milk with Bamburi, Simba, etc and Brookside. Those are not affected by SGR. I think he foolish spent a fortune in elections. And now he is against WSR. I think there was a fallout when he tried to get WSR to help him get contracts..but without fertlizers being imported..it was dead end.

Buzeki started having issues immediately after elections of 2018.

Unless you're a drug dealer or a very corrupt politician or big time criminal - don't follow what Ruto, Sonko and Kabogo do; travelling in choppers, dishing out millions...you'll be broke so fast.
