What happened to Kenya's dream of pipe water for everyone by year 2000? Just another delussion like Kenya Vision 2030.
Rwanda should do a case study in Kenya on how not to go about the issue.

Water is only achievable in Kenya if you restore the water towers and stop the destruction. Such mundane chores as water and firewood lower rural productivity. Demographic turn will help some of these things. Rwanda is making constant strides except democracy. Hope they don't slide back to anarchy when the benevolent dictator exits... he is around upto 2035.

Need to study how they are doing it across those hills. Some nitty gritties about the practical heavy lifting on the ground.

Infrastructure across such terrain is such a headache.

The hills are catchments. Piping is downstream.

That's impractical. Homesteads are built on top of the hills not downstream. In Kenya this terrain is the greatest challenge of piping water to homesteads even in places such Embu, Murang'a which are clean water catchment areas so it would be interesting to know how it is being done in Rwanda given we ar used to Kagame cooking figures.

Is there any government not cooking figures globally?
