This may go a long way in reduce the amount of bribes the police collect and may rake in some money for gov.

This is good but the fines for some offences seems a little too high. If the fines are high kenyans will opt to bribe rather than pay. Also I hope the system provider wont charge ridiculous amount like ecitizen is being charged https://www.nation.co.ke/news/Battle-for-control-of-Sh5-6bn-eCitizen-takes-new-twist/1056-4753466-g8at83z/index.html . I mean $1 per transaction is alot, it should be about $.25 or less.

Agreed. They need to conduct research on what people are willing to pay for any offence and try to charge that. That of course will lead to police demanding less and less - but I guess it also need to be a detterent. On E-Citizen - that just lopsided deal.

This should come from legislators not the courts. It should be a minor crime, but in Kenya its always something else.
