Oguda. I can never under estimate members of the Pokot insurgency. They are naturally trained sharp shooters and village sentries. They mean business. They hardly smile. I once took a research Anthropologist among the Pokot to conduct an interview as I play the interpretor. I tell you, aboriginal Pokot neither have a good grip of Kiswahili language nor do they clad clothes. They walk barefoot with some gunia covering their privates only and guns hanging on their shoulders like a shepherd tending to cattle in a pasture. When one of the men saw us, all he afforded to ask from the lady was sex and he meant business. The lady had to give out money as collateral for our passage. These people mean business. Some eat raw meat in the hilly vegetation. Some drink water and survive like camels for days. The woman laughed after the interview from villages and said these words on our way out; "Indeed, they are daring patented savages, what they want, they take".
