The best tradies like brick laying etc. are physically stocky. Aussie tradies take quarter the time to do construction work than Chinese workers hence why in Oz even Chinese investors employ Aussie workers. Asian (Indian, Chinese) etc. tend to be small framed and take much, much longer.
When my dad started as electrical engineer he had Chinese, Indian buddies. Since dad was strong, tall and you know he was in the airforce military work ethic etc. he soon excelled and he was giving leftover jobs to his Chinese buddy, Indian quit, soon after Chinese quit. In Oz, Chinese investors don't use Chinese builders, because they take too long and workmanship isn't sturdy enough. Quality trade on the ground rests a lot on how strong and built the workers are. The other is the use of quality materials.
